“Spectrum” is a thick impasto acrylic painting made with a palette knife. Each swipe of the palette knife is different and has its own rainbow of colors. Spectrum starts with mainly red to the left, then mainly orange, mainly yellow, mainly green, mainly teal, mainly blue, and mainly purple, with white throughout. It’s a feast for the eyes.

Part of my Color Explosion series, I created this painting using acrylic paint on canvas, using a palette knife impasto (thick paint) technique.

This is an original piece.
Acrylic on Canvas, with white (gesso) edges.
36″ x 48″ x 1.5″
Titled on the back & signed on the front right bottom corner.
