To get the most out of your critique session:

1. Email images of the work you want to discuss ahead of time to the email address I’ll provide. 1 picture per piece, unless is is 3D, time based, or you want to show a specific detail so we can talk about it in depth. 1000 px for the largest side should do fine. 3 pieces maximum per 15 minutes, so we can allocate enough time to each.

2. Plan and rehearse how you would present your work in a critique, and that’s how you will present it to me during our discussion. For example: “This piece is about _____. I used _____ to create it. My process focused on ____.” Short, sweet, and to the point. Don’t stress over this; if you have difficulty knowing what to say, just use this template and I can teach you how to talk about it better during the session.

2. Get on FaceTime/Zoom/WhatsApp a bit early and have your work at hand if possible.

3. Have any questions you have for me ready. This session is about you and what you’re looking for insight into. The more specific you are about what advice you want, the better I can provide it to you. I want you help you as much as possible in the time allotted.
